They arrived about 3:30. Susan has grown a lot. We measured her against the marks from last time, and she is about 6" taller. She didn't say much for a while, but by dinnertime at Chili's, she was talking a blue streak. There was a ladybug in the car, so she held it until time for the food. I will have to take some pictures tomorrow.

I'm amazed at how well she reads. She read a whole book (level 1) at Barnes & Noble with little help on words--through, giant, magician, and names. She's not 5 yet, although in Taiwan they count her as 5 until her 5th birthday when she becomes 6. I can tell she and Silvia have spent a lot of time practicing. She says she will teach Grandpa Chinese while she is here.
