Susan, Neil, and Silvia will be here tomorrow! We are excited. I worked on the middle bedroom yesterday and will finish today. I'm sure she has grown a lot.
The family landed in LA on Monday, the 15th. Silvia is expecting a baby boy in August, so she and Neil will be in LA most of the time, but they will drive here to bring Susan. I don't envy her riding all that way on a plane and then in a car being nearly 8 months pregnant. She had to visit the doctor before she could come. They have a friend with a sort of boarding house where they can stay. Garrett and I will take Susan back to them just before they start home.
Susan will go to KinderMusik one morning per week and to Camp Tatanka (activities camp at WT) in the afternoons through July. Garrett and I will work with her on reading and phonics skills too. I hope we can do some fun stuff like the Discovery Center and the Botanical Gardens, feeding the ducks, going to the zoo.
The living room looks more than crowded with the addition of the computer and printer stations, the sewing machine, and all the stuff that is usually there. The yard is green with so much rain, but there are weeds. I pulled some last night. It was very warm and humid until the rain started about 10.
I'd better get busy.
