School
Susan went to "school" Thursday for the first time. She went to Mother's Day Out at the Methodist Church. We had to take diapers, another set of clothes, bebe, Rabbit, lunch, a snack, water, formula. I was exhausted by the time I got her ready!
We had already visited the room, but it was empty at the time. Filled with adults and children, it was scary. She has a basket in the hall for all her stuff. Bebe had to go in with her. She was crying when I left.
When I went back at 3:30, Susan was smiling and playing with the other children. She had played outside, made something for Papa for Father's Day, eaten lunch, napped, and played some more. I think she had a very good day.

Jan, your blogspot is very interesting. I hadn't seen it for a couple of weeks, when I looked at it again today. I can imagine that Susan's parents look forward to it a great deal.
Enjoyed the transcript of your visit with Matina... glad you were able to get together several times.
Your telling about the soft boiled egg you were served (maybe it was Susan's egg) made me think of the occasion in Greece
when we were on a family trip and eating breakfast at a fancy restaurant. You had requested a hard-boiled egg. It came in the little egg cup where you chip off the top of the shell and spoon out the egg... at least, that is the way the Greeks apparently did it. You, Jan, had not planned to do the eating with a spoon nor wanted an egg that hadn't spent enough time in the pot to knock of the fuzz. You asked Dad to sent it back. He did. As I recall it came back no more solid the second time. I don't know if it went back a second time, but I doubt that you ate it. Yes? No? How did the story end? Garrett
